Great hostel, clean and comfortable! The staff are friendly and always ready to help. The manager, Cody, is friendly, keeps things running smoothly, and always makes everyone feel welcome. You can tell they really care about the guests. Good location and a lovely courtyard to relax. Highly recommend!

This hostel is going through major, positive changes, and the PodBed team is putting in serious effort. You can tell they're building something great. Honestly, it's disgusting seeing some guests take advantage of the improvements and leave messes in communal areas. Come on, it's a shared space "pick up your own trash"! Farhan and Jade on housekeeping are amazing. They were kind enough to tell me they properly scrubbed the toilets, and yes, they look and smell clean! They are out every morning vacuuming and picking up trash and mugs that lazy people should be sorting themselves. Major changes are ongoing to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Great location, best service. I definitely recommend this hostel!

Stayed in PodBed for 2 nights with my friends. The rooms and kitchen are all kept so clean by the staff and they were the friendliest staff ever. Fahra and Kody were so friendly, warm and funny and always made us feel so welcome. It’s so nice to stay somewhere where you feel wanted and we are sad to say bye. Thank you guys!

She was the loveliest person ever. So helpful I felt like I was at home as she was such a lovely mum and made us feel so welcome. Everyone should go here I felt like I was at home.

Thoroughly impressed. Mirjana has been absolutely amazing, very helpful, smooth communication & everything here is excellent. Clean, all amenities make the stay comfortable. Highly, highly recommend - we will definitely be extending here.

I recently visited Australia and had the chance to check out this newly renovated backpackers hostel in order to let my daughter know what’s it’s like because she is due to travel to this area and this hostel is in a perfect location. Firstly I met the new appointed Manager, Cody ( hope I have spelt his name right). Very friendly and welcoming. He was so helpful in answering any of my questions and so amenable so showing me around. I felt very well looked after. He spoke about the changes that had taken place and was very enthusiastic about making this hostel work well for all its guests. I would say this hostel is ideal for people that are looking to stay somewhere which is reasonably priced and in an excellent location.

First of all, we want to mention that we were not paid or encouraged in any way to write this review. We simply had such a lovely stay at this hostel that we wanted to share our experience. The owner, Mirjana, is amazing — she cooks dinner for everyone every night and truly creates a warm, family-like atmosphere. She’s like a mom to all the guests. A special thank you as well to Gem from the staff team, who took great care of us. He was always helpful and went out of his way to assist us with everything we needed, even helping carry our luggage upstairs. The only minor downside is the size of the rooms, but that’s not really anyone’s fault. We truly enjoyed our stay!
